You also need to know that to refill the starter cartridge, this is the cartridge you got free when you bought the printer, you need a reset gear, or some models a fuse, to get the cartridge to print, otherwise it won't print. If you are using a replacement cartridge, this is the cartridge you buy at your local office supply store to replace the one that came with the printer, you don't need a reset gear, all you need is the bulk toner to refill it. In a few Samsung models, the starter cartridge comes with the reset gear, all you need to do is to reset the gear and the cartridge will print.
